Short Fiction, Flash and Hybrid Work


  • TIMBER Journal published my hybrid piece, “Ghost Mother 1-2-3”, and featured a selection from this piece on their cover.


  • The Pinch published my first flash piece, “Dating White Men #2”, in 2024, calling it “ a powerful dissection and damnation of how writing was used in our past."


  • "Mama,” a short story based on excerpts from my unpublished novel, appeared in the Bellingham Review. Editor Jane Wong described it as "haunting." 


  • "Dearest" appeared in the inaugural issue of Repave.This journal is an exciting artistic and literary project that I am proud to have participated in.


  • The Portland-based Buckmxn Journal printed "In the Flesh", which became the inspiration for my unpublished novel. You can purchase copies through Powell’s Books.


  • My first publication, the short story "Clean", appeared in Joyland Magazine, Volume IX.

  • Selections from my novel featured in author Mary Helen Stefaniak’s Pacific MFA Craft Talk, "Sticking with It, or: Nevertheless, They Persisted"


Appearances and Readings

  • I wrote and performed “Homecoming" for the BIPOC Women’s Storytelling Showcase,This is My Body . You can read “Homecoming” in Volume 2 of the Novalia Collective's digital anthology.


  • I read a scene from my unpublished novel as a Showcase Artist for APAture, Kearny Street Workshop's Festival for Emerging API Artists.
