
Maureen Bhutong Boyd is a Thai-Scottish Californian-Canadian writer and uses the pronouns she and her. After graduate study in English at the University of Washington, she spent several years assisting and leading union organizing campaigns across the U.S. She received her MFA in Fiction from Pacific University in 2021. Her MFA thesis became a novel for which she is currently seeking representation, and she is also working on a memoir that explores hybridity in identity.
She lives on Vancouver Island with her husband and three pugs: Pepper, Rogue, and Tofu.
