The Lands Photographed

I am an amateur photographer and took all of the photos that appear on this website using a Nikon D5600. 

These photos were taken on Snuneymuxw land, in the center of Coast Salish territory, colonially known as Central Vancouver Island, and on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, colonially known as the Toronto Islands on Lake Ontario.

I believe it is our responsibility to return stewardship of these stolen lands to the Native and First Nations peoples who lived and continue to live on those lands. 

Land acknowledgements do not right these historical wrongs, but serve as attempts to raise consciousness regarding our relationships to the places we choose to visit, live, and work in.
